Just built my retirement home here in Oliver on many occasions i would find myself making a quick trip up to the hardware store for various who knows whats, paint, screws, nails ,glue, sprinkler systems, timers etc.. I found the shop well organised. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. I felt that they tried to get what was right for me, rather than just sell me the most expensive product they could. I went there because they were listed on a manufacturers website as a dealer for fabric plant pots. We took in a pressure washer during the busy spring season. They were honest about there being a long wait as they had so many jobs ahead of us. Always a good sign I think, to see a business with so many people wanting to use them. Did a great job, machine runs like new, the cost was much more reasonable than we expected and they managed to get it done a bit quicker than we were told. Highly recommend! Read more

I receive excellent service from the employees at ARN's. There is a caveat. I receive excellent service once I get the attention of an employee. I have been there three times and each time I stand around waiting for help and have to go aggressively ask for assistance. People walk by and say hi but don't ask if I need help. I don't want to bother those that are busy or helping other people so I let them say hi and keep walking. Besides that, impeccable service! Read more
